Project Controls Engineer - Transport and Utilities

We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our Transport and Utilities team. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will be responsible for leading project controls on low-complexity, low-risk projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a cross-discipline Project Controls team to ensure project performance and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with project management to communicate project performance and influence stakeholders.
  • Define project scope through exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinate scope decomposition.
  • Establish a robust Performance Measurement Baseline and manage change control processes.
  • Work with suppliers to integrate and analyze performance data.
  • Perform schedule recovery planning using schedule optimization and critical path analysis.
  • Ensure scope, cost, risk, and schedule integration and alignment.
  • Work with Risk Management to identify and manage risks.
  • Guide project management in resource deployment in line with the schedule.
  • Establish effective project governance.
  • Assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of Project Controls team output.
  • Identify learning opportunities for continuous improvement and skills development.
Requirements:
  • Professional Project Controls experience in one or more sectors and in the application of at least one Project Controls discipline.
  • Experience of working in an Integrated Project Team and in the transportation and utilities sectors.
  • Ability to travel to client sites across the Southwest as required.
