Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trunk Sewer Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating our main trunk sewer network, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our trunk sewer network, including mechanical maintenance and fault finding.
  • Confined Space Access: Work in confined spaces, including some of London's most challenging underground areas, to maintain and repair our sewer network.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with your team members to achieve our operational objectives and ensure the safe and efficient delivery of our services.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to perform manual handling activities, including operating large mechanical assets and grounds maintenance.
  • Driving Requirements: Hold a valid UK driving license and have a preference for HGV experience, with training provided as required.
  • Shift Work: Work on a shift pattern, including nights, and participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.

  • Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
  • Annual Leave: 24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days with length of service, plus bank holidays.
