About the Role
Hitachi Zosen Inova AG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of Boiler Pressure Parts services on our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HSEQ team to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements
- Ensure that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into the area of responsibility and that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable
- Review and approve RAMS, WPQRs, and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with HSE requirements
- Implement standardized methods to identify complex problems and provide guidance to the service team to achieve objectives
- Ensure that works within the area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time and budget requirements
- Monitor and record welding parameters, including preheat temperature, interpass temperature, and consumables usage
- Organize and supervise welding skills tests as specified by HZI procedures
- Progress change requests (technical, time, and costs) and prepare follow-up deviations and claims
- Deliver Lessons Learned and feedback for current and future projects
- Follow up and ensure closing of the contractor's punch items
Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3 Engineering
- CSWIP Welding Inspector
- Experience as a supervisor in delivering Boiler Pressure Parts services to a large industrial plant
- Experience in the coordination of contracts/contractors on site
- Experience in the inspection and approval of Boiler pressure part welding in accordance with companies welding quality system, procedures, and policies
- Familiar with common NDT, quality procedures, and standards
- Experience in evaluation of RT films and other NDT results (level II)
- Experience as a leader of HSEQ and knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal and management system requirements
- Knowledge of relevant international and national technical standards
- Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), valid Safety Contractors Certificate or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications
