Job Opportunity

Barrington James is currently seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Account and Data Executive. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in medical communications and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery, identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to account growth and development, working closely with the account director and medical writers to achieve business objectives.
  • Support business development initiatives, leveraging expertise in medical communications to drive growth and revenue.
  • Maximize financial control, ensuring effective management of resources and budgets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the disease area, key brand data, and competitor landscape to brief key opinion leaders, writers, and editorial teams on content creation that meets brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with medical writers and editors, as well as the account director, to deliver high-quality content that meets client needs.
  • Manage own projects and, in time, mentor or line manage an account executive, providing guidance and support to ensure success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical communications agency, with a strong background in account management and project delivery.
  • Life Science degree or higher, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Experience delivering face-to-face and/or online programs, with a proven track record of success.
  • A passion for digital communications and medicine, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
