Exciting Opportunity for a Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Allstaff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading client based in Rushden, providing nationwide service on CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert service and maintenance on CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Service and repair high-specification 4-axis machine tools, requiring strong technical knowledge and skills.
  • Assemble and dismantle pneumatic and technical mechanical assemblies, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
  • Test, install, and commission CNC equipment, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in field service engineering, specializing in CNC machines.
  • Full clean UK license and willingness to travel and stay overnight, as required.
  • Strong working knowledge of 24v CNC control systems, Servo Driver, and Inverter Systems.
  • Computer literate and proficient in using technical software and tools.
What We Offer

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus van allowance
Location: Rushden
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am to 11:00 am
