As a Senior Business Analyst within the IT and Digital Directorate at Manchester Metropolitan University, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital services. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of business architecture and analysis to identify and address organizational challenges facing the University.
  • Develop and document high-quality business requirements for critical University business solutions, including the integration of new student management and HR/Finance systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and define requirements for business solutions, ensuring effective development and implementation.
  • Apply Agile approaches and practices to drive business improvement projects, balancing competing demands and managing expectations.
  • Develop and shape best-practice guidelines, using data to inform high-risk decision making.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, with a degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Agile approaches, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and modern workload management tools.
  • Excellent organizational planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and expectations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and deliver business improvement projects.
