This role is essential for the assembly, installation, and upkeep of cable and wire harnesses utilized in diverse electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly and Fabrication:
- Construct wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors in accordance with engineering schematics, specifications, and operational guidelines.
- Execute tasks including cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and splicing of wires and cables.
- Employ hand tools, power tools, and testing apparatus to guarantee superior quality outputs and compliance with specifications.
Quality Assurance:
- Keep precise records of inspections, tests, and production activities.
- Conduct continuity and insulation resistance assessments.
- Ensure all assemblies conform to industry standards and client specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of tests and inspections.
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and continuity testers is essential.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
