About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join NELFT North East London Foundation Trust as a CAMHS Community Consultant Psychiatrist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs, particularly those with eating disorders, across Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive care to children and young people, ensuring a seamless transition between services.
- Provide senior medical guidance and support to the team, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and external CAMHS mental health providers, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing 24/7 support to the team and ensuring continuity of care.
- Contribute to the development of our team's skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of learning and improvement.
- Work closely with our Paediatrician colleague to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the child's physical and mental health needs.
- Collaborative Working: This role requires a strong commitment to collaborative working, actively engaging with other health and social professionals, and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
