Job Title: English Lecturer

Location: North Shields

Job Type: Temporary

Hours: 17 hours per week

Salary: £25 per hour + 12.5% Statutory Holiday Pay

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced English Lecturer to join our team at Protocol National Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students, ensuring their needs are met, and providing pastoral and supportive care throughout their learner journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective English language programs, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for students.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Oversee the needs and progress of students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion and success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain effective management of study programs, sharing best practices and expertise.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and program information, using platforms such as SharePoint.
  • Celebrate and promote staff and student success, contributing to a positive college culture.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 qualification in English related field
  • A Teaching Qualification
  • Experience Lecturing at FE level
