As a Vehicle Preparation Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle maintenance and repair, utilizing your technical knowledge to test, diagnose, and resolve faults. You will also suggest and make improvements to processes, work on electrical and mechanical systems, inspect components for wear and tear, repair and replace parts, and check vehicle subsystems.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have great team player and communication skills, maintain high standards of housekeeping, and be able to work to efficiency targets. Prior experience in working within a main automotive dealer is preferable but not essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair
* Utilize technical knowledge to test, diagnose, and resolve faults

**Requirements:**

* The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment
* The capability of working to the highest quality standards

* Prior experience in working to efficiency targets
* A full UK driving license
* Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable but not essential
* VOSA-approved MOT tester an advantage but not essential
* Must hold Level 2 / Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent

They are also happy to consider Diagnostic Technicians and Master Technicians for the same site (salaries would be higher). They will also consider Level 2 Technicians but their salaries would be lower.
