About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our project team at VolkerWessels UK Ltd. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the engineering and temporary works on our projects, working closely with our project team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering and temporary works on our projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with our project team to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring excellent customer service and project satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of our project teams, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the success of our projects.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Civil Engineer in a construction or infrastructure project management role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex project issues.
