About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Platform Engineer to join our growing Data Platform team at Greggs. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality data is sourced and curated in our Azure cloud platform, providing a foundation for growth for all data, analytic, and AI services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data ingestion solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from various sources into Azure data services.
  • Help to implement DataOps practices to streamline and automate the data lifecycle, ensuring faster delivery and higher quality of data products.
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows to facilitate automated testing and deployment.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address their data needs.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the Azure ecosystem and drive continuous improvement within the team.
