Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable General Cover Teacher to join our team at TeacherActive. As a General Cover Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of education by covering planned absences or stepping in for emergency cover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach or cover various subjects across primary and secondary levels
  • Support students with diverse needs, including SEMH, ASD, and ADHD
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively and maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment
  • Be flexible and resilient, with a passion for making a difference in young people's lives
  • Have a strong commitment to providing opportunities for personal, social, health, and emotional development

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching or covering various subjects across primary and secondary levels
  • GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for making a difference in young people's lives
  • Own vehicle or ability to travel to the site
