We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Woods Careers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting inspections, and implementing repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), focusing on Predictive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prepare plants and chutes for shutdowns.
- Implement repairs and maintenance on equipment such as drums, rollers, and conveyors, using techniques such as welding and other repair methods.
- Participate in a 60/40 planned/reactive maintenance split to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain site cleanliness and hygiene to meet high standards of environmental responsibility.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in an industrial environment.
