We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Service Engineer to join our client, a reputable firm in the agricultural industry experiencing significant growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various agricultural machinery, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently complete all necessary documentation and submissions to facilitate smooth departmental operations.
- Address technical cases from suppliers and ensure timely closure upon completion.
- Perform repairs and servicing on agricultural machinery and other equipment as required, including workshop tools.
- Provide demonstrations of agricultural machinery when requested.
- Execute any reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor or senior management.
- Maintain the company vehicle in good condition and report any issues to the Service Manager promptly.
- Handle the delivery and collection of necessary items.
- Participate in training sessions as mandated by the company.
- Uphold the company's reputation and safeguard its assets.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns (written, verbal, or electronic) promptly and effectively, ensuring excellent service.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or failures to a supervisor or senior management.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the industry, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Possession of a valid Full Driving Licence.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: £16 - £19 per hour (OTE with overtime earnings between £40,000 - £90,000)
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 39 hours per week, and 2x for hours beyond 48 hours per week and on Sundays.
- Holiday Package: 22 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
- Company Van provided.
- Company Sick Pay available after 6 months of employment.
- Pension Scheme included.
