Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to join our team at Smart DCC. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of all artefacts on behalf of the Engineering function into DCC programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management: Support and manage key stakeholders whilst acting as a key interface between Projects, Technology and Operations.
- Engineering Artefacts Delivery: Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Engineering artefacts into DCC Programmes.
- Team Management: Functionally manage Architects and Designers on a day-to-day basis to ensure they are delivering on time and of a high quality.
- Quality Assurance: Responsible for ensuring that quality and Engineering design standards are met in all artefacts and deliverables.
- Reporting: Help and assist to collate Engineering data for weekly reports and provide in a report to the Head of Engineering InLife, Director of Engineering and CTO.
- Technical Documentation: Assist with standardising and authoring of technical documents and create and manage a technical library of CTO design artefacts and associated/supporting documentation.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through innovative Engineering practices and support and run the Design Change Assurance Forums and In Life Technical oversight processes.
Requirements:
- Technical Lead Experience: Experience in working and being a technical lead in a fast-paced, matrix and agile environment with a focus on quality.
- Large ICT Programmes: Experience in roles in large ICT and customer-focused programmes.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to various stakeholder groups, including non-technical audiences.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of key business risks both technical and non-technical.
