Job Summary:
Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced housekeeping couple to join our team as live-in staff for a private estate in the Cotswolds. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the estate, including the main residence and several cottages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and simple cooking
- Assist with general maintenance, gardening, and vehicle maintenance
- Liaise with contractors and run errands as needed
- Work collaboratively with the gardener and nanny to ensure a smooth operation
Requirements:
- Flexibility and adaptability to work weekends and variable hours
- One driver is essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Accommodation and Benefits:
The successful candidates will be provided with a 1 or 2-bedroom cottage on the estate, which will be refurbished during their tenure. A negotiable salary of £70,000 - £80,000 gross per annum, depending on experience, will be offered.
