Actuarial Pricing Analyst Job Description

We are partnering with a leading global Re/Insurer to find a skilled Actuarial Pricing Analyst. This role involves supporting the Lead Actuary with actuarial pricing activities, collaborating with underwriting teams, and contributing to group functions related to pricing, business planning, and actuarial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actuarial Pricing Support: Provide actuarial pricing support and peer review for underwriters, ensuring accurate and reliable pricing models.
  • Exposure and Experience Rating Models: Develop and refine exposure and experience rating models to evaluate risk and profitability, driving business growth and optimization.
  • Market Data Analysis: Analyze market data to adjust and benchmark pricing models, staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Catastrophe Risk Integration: Collaborate with risk teams to integrate catastrophe risks into pricing methodologies, ensuring comprehensive risk assessment and management.
  • Segmentation Analysis: Conduct segmentation analysis to identify performance trends and assist with underwriting decisions, driving business insights and growth.
  • Actuarial Reviews: Assist with actuarial reviews of the business plan, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Pricing and Risk Parameterization: Contribute to key pricing and risk parameterization projects as assigned, driving business innovation and improvement.
  • Actuarial Team Support: Offer insights and support to the actuarial team on pricing and risk activities, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Business Line Understanding: Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant business lines, ensuring expertise and relevance in a rapidly changing market.
