Job Opportunity: Interim Senior Controller

HW Interim Solutions is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Controller to join our team on a 6-month basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of quarterly and annual Group statutory financial statements, executing ad hoc transaction accounting, and preparing local GAAP/IFRS statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Oversee the preparation of all required regulatory filings and disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements, including monitoring changes in financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Effectively communicate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the financial reporting process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide technical expertise to the wider team on transaction and project-based accounting.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise of the Group for financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified (c10 yrs PQE) with proven experience working within complex and fast-paced environments. This role will be delivered on a day rate outside IR35 and will be based in Yorkshire on a hybrid basis (3 days per week onsite). The successful candidate must be available immediately or available within the coming weeks.
