We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to manage our residential children's home in Derby. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the management, leadership, and direction of our establishment, ensuring the highest standards of performance and quality care for our children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a warm and friendly home that provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to thrive.
- Lead a team of colleagues and facilitate their professional development to provide high-quality care and support.
- Design, implement, and monitor care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people.
- Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare) or working towards this qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home.
- Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviors.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent knowledge of current legislations, including The Children's Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, and The Children's Act 1989 and 2004.
