Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Governance Specialist

Job Type: Contract

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Contract Length: 6 months (with extension available)

Rate: Up to £585 per day (Inside IR35)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Governance Specialist to lead strategic initiatives within our client's cloud environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and infrastructure documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Design and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to the cloud environment
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud infrastructure management

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Proven expertise in governance frameworks, risk management, and infrastructure documentation
  • Experience working with key Azure technologies such as Landing Zones, Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, Azure DevOps, Azure AD, RBAC, Azure Policies/Guard Rails, and FinOps
  • Familiarity with ITIL Foundation processes and procedures
