About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to join our team at Liberty. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about ethical trade and sustainability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Liberty's own-brand ethical trade programme, managing the onboarding and auditing of new suppliers, and providing topline reporting and trend analysis of issues identified with own-brand suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Liberty's own-brand ethical trade programme, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Manage the onboarding and auditing of new suppliers, including scheduling audits and processing documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assess audits and assign ratings to issues, engaging with suppliers on remediation and maintaining a schedule of re-audits and follow-up audits.
  • Provide topline reporting and trend analysis of issues identified with own-brand suppliers, using data to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain data on Liberty's internal supplier database and external platforms such as the Open Supply Hub.
Reporting and Training
  • Deliver ethical trade-related training within the business, using existing training materials to upskill employees on areas such as Modern Slavery awareness and Supplier Due Diligence.
  • Develop and deliver ad-hoc subject-specific training relating to risks within our supply chain.
  • Provide data for quarterly risk reports to the business, supporting various reporting obligations, including the Modern Slavery Act and submissions to the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI).
Other CSR-Related Activities
  • Represent the business in external multi-stakeholder forums such as the ETI, contributing to the ongoing development and gap analysis of Liberty's Ethical Trade strategy.
  • Support with wider CSR objectives, including environmental regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc activities in support of our charity partner.
Requirements
  • Proven experience within ethical trade/CSR/Sustainability, with a strong understanding of factory audit and remediation processes.
  • Excellent communication and data management skills, with the ability to collate information for accurate reporting.
  • Comfortable bringing groups together and collaborating on solutions, with a proven interest in labour/human rights.
  • IT literate, with experience managing data and using industry-standard software.
