Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere, promoting student engagement and motivation.
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed, helping them to stay on task and achieve their academic goals.
- Liaise with teaching staff and school management to ensure effective cover arrangements, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
