As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in software development, while ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver innovative solutions and define software development programs.
- Guide and support the team in the continuous improvement of Agile development practices.
- Develop and deliver a strategic technological vision for software development.
- Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage, and provide progress on all software development activities.
- Ensure all software development projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Take responsibility for departmental and project budget forecasting, estimation, and control.
- Create, implement, and monitor a continuous improvement plan for software development.
- Ensure that the skills and experience of the Software team are consistent with business needs.
Requirements:
- A background in embedded software within a product development environment.
- A thorough understanding of SW development processes and tools, including elements such as Version/Configuration Management, Issue tracking tools, CI/CD, SAST, and SCA.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Experience with mentoring & coaching, performance management, technical arbitration, workforce and resource planning.
- Experience with developing, implementing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs.
