We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the President of Archbishop Ryan High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a new strategic plan, building a strong development and fundraising program, and finding new purpose for underutilized facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive the school's mission and vision.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Archbishop Ryan Board of Directors, faculty, staff, and alumni.
- Oversee the development and implementation of a robust fundraising program to support the school's mission and goals.
- Collaborate with the Principal and Assistant Principals to monitor and evaluate academic programs, including curriculum, grading, testing, and reporting to parents.
- Ensure that all employees and volunteers comply with the mandates of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia regarding the maintenance of a safe and secure environment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to promote the school's mission and values, including Catholic faith and spirituality.
- Represent the school in its relations with the Archdiocese, Faith in the Future, school districts, township, county, Commonwealth, and federal agencies, and with local, state, regional, and national educational organizations, and accrediting agencies.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in strategic planning and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Archbishop Ryan Board of Directors, faculty, staff, and alumni to achieve the school's mission and goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ability to travel, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
Archbishop Ryan High School is a coeducational Roman Catholic high school located in Northeast Philadelphia.
