Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and represent the fleet department, supervising and guiding a team of fleet administrators working across varying shifts.
- Administrative Tasks: Ensure all administrative tasks are completed within set deadlines, setting goals, providing constructive feedback, and holding regular performance evaluations.
- Fleet Management: Oversee and manage fleet-related insurance claims from initiation to resolution, working closely with the Insurance Manager and insurers to secure prompt claim settlements.
- System Management: Manage fleet-related systems, including internal databases and government platforms, ensuring full compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Collect and analyse fleet performance metrics, producing reports to track trends and identify areas for improvement.
- Cost Management: Assist in setting budget targets for major suppliers, monitor expenditure, and review monthly spending to optimise cost management.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Logistics Experience: Solid experience in logistics or transport operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.
