Radiation Therapist

Epping Florist Works is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care in our radiation therapy department.

• Competently perform roles within a multi-disciplinary team as an accredited radiation therapist practitioner in simulation, planning, treatment, quality assurance, and quality improvement.
• Ensure high-quality patient-centered care is delivered and maintained through the application of radiation therapy quality assurance, radiation safety principles, and practices.
• Participate in incident reporting, site group meetings, and adherence to NSW Health policies and guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy planning and treatment, including multimodality image verification, conventional and advanced planning, and treatment delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in radiation therapy techniques and technology, with a clear commitment to research, innovation, and evidence-based practice.

• Successful completion of a degree in Medical Radiation Technology or equivalent qualification recognized by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT).
• Full Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Radiation Therapist.
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance, radiation safety principles, and practices.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy planning and treatment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current trends and developments in radiation therapy techniques and technology.
