Position: Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Technician
Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Compensation: £40,000 annually
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts from 6am to 2:30pm and 8:30am to 6pm.
Our esteemed client, a leader in the transportation sector, is seeking a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Technician to enhance their team on a permanent basis.
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an apprenticeship program, including City & Guilds HGV qualifications 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent credentials.
- Possession of an LGV Class C / HGV Class 2 license is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Capability to operate independently in a physically demanding environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Demonstrated experience in servicing, repairing, and diagnosing faults in commercial vehicles to a high standard.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, especially within the waste management industry.
