Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Chef to join our team at The Chef Foundation. As a Private Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for a family of three in their home in Central London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare healthy and delicious meals for the family, including Italian, Mediterranean, Asian, and Modern British cuisine.
  • Cook meals for 4-5 evenings a week, including occasional dinner parties and family events.
  • Manage the kitchen with a clean and organized work ethic, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the family.
  • Shop for ingredients and plan meals with the family's principal.
  • Develop and maintain a menu that meets the family's dietary needs and preferences.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless meal preparation and service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working as a Private Chef in a domestic environment.
  • Strong all-round kitchen skills, including baking and cooking for large groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with children and pets.
  • Professional qualifications and excellent references.

  • Flexible working hours, approximately 4pm-9pm.
