About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Grandir UK. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing high-quality food to our children and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Transport food between our two nursery sites, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
  • Manage catering activities within budget, making efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and respond to feedback from staff and children, making improvements to our catering services.
  • Purchase supplies from approved vendors, maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, reporting any incidents or concerns.
  • Support the Cook in their absence, covering all duties and responsibilities.
  • Assist in the nursery rooms as needed, under the guidance of the Nursery Manager or Cook.
