Quality and Inspection Supervisor

Holt Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality and Inspection Supervisor to join their team. This role involves managing and prioritizing workflow, optimizing departmental efficiency, overseeing the on-time delivery of components and products, and ensuring consistently high product quality and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and prioritize workflow to optimize departmental efficiency and productivity.
  2. Ensure the timely delivery of components and products, meeting customer expectations and company standards.
  3. Oversee the quality of products and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  4. Continuously improve quality assurance systems and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Schedule and optimize production to meet demands and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  6. Support and optimize team performance, providing coaching and training to ensure high-quality results.
  7. Provide a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  8. Conduct regular performance reviews and set objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  9. Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  10. Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  11. Conduct final inspections of components and assemblies, ensuring they meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of quality improvement and process optimization.
  2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  3. Experience in managing customer and supplier relationships, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Knowledge of quality assurance systems and processes, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  5. Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  6. Strong focus on continuous improvement, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
