The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial aspects of construction projects, including tendering, budgeting, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial aspects of construction projects, including tendering, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, including JCT and NEC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
