Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Blue Arrow. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional food and service to our clients across various contract catering sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of hot and cold food items, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Serve food, including handling cash and undertaking basic administration tasks.
  • Contribute to the clear down and closure of the unit at the end of each shift, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Support with Special Events, Buffets, and Conferences as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (can be obtained after registration with us).
  • Previous experience in a similar catering or food service role, with a strong understanding of food safety protocols.
  • Previous cash handling experience and a Food Safety Qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently, taking pride in your work.
