About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team at Methods, working on a 2-year programme of work with a fantastic client. The successful candidate will be based in our Central London office location, working in a hybrid way with a mix of onsite and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and operational context, and translate these into technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the Product Backlog, ensuring that Epics meet a defined Definition of Ready and are decomposed into clearly defined work items.
  • Work with the Data & Analytics Development Team to ensure a steady flow of PBIs ready for development, and provide specialist expertise to ensure backlogs are well maintained and prioritized.
  • Engage with other Senior Product Owners, Product Managers, Technical Delivery Managers, and Project Managers to identify dependencies and integration points between different areas of the Data Foundation project.
  • Ensure development work is effectively prepared, scheduled, and managed to meet the overall Data Foundation Product Goals.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues within the product space to the wider Data Foundation Project Team.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience of backlog development and gathering feedback in an agile environment.
  • Ability to balance competing tasks and demands effectively.
  • Effective communication with non-technical stakeholders about complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Senior Product Owner experience of at least 3 years on projects of a similar size, scale, and nature to Data Foundation.
  • Experience of implementing data & analytics systems and products using Azure tech stack.
