Job Summary

Randstad is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Assistant to join our esteemed nursery team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead educator in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs of our young learners.
  • Provide exceptional care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and a cohesive approach to childcare.
Requirements
  • CACHE Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a nursery or preschool setting, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the nursery.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and eligibility to work in the UK.
