Head Chef Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at The Angel Inn, Bowness. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and consistency, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet customer expectations and drive sales growth.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control food costs, wastage, and labor expenses, achieving budgeted targets.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Level 3 food safety certificate and HACCP experience.
