Nurse (Part Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide education, support, and guidance.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and a valid Ontario Certificate of Competence.
- Minimum two years of recent medical surgical experience, with a focus on critical care and emergency situations.
- Advanced life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BCLS) certifications.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Palliative care experience and physical assessment course completion.
- Two years of recent medical surgical experience, with a focus on critical care and emergency situations.
