Main Responsibilities

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for older adults
  • Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Developing and implementing new models and methods of working, including liaison with primary care
  • Participating in medical management and research activities
  • Teaching and training postgraduate psychiatric and GP trainees, as well as undergraduates
