Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at Computappoint Limited. As a key member of our technology services team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network strategies that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Strategy and Design: Develop and implement network strategies that align with our clients' business objectives.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to our team, ensuring that our network solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Architectural Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation of our network solutions.
  • Project and BAU Work: Split your time between project work and business-as-usual (BAU) activities, ensuring that our network services are always available and performing optimally.
  • Supplier Management: Manage our relationships with network suppliers, ensuring that we get the best possible value for our clients.
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong Understanding of IP Networking Technologies: You have a deep understanding of IP networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SDWAN.
  • Network Design Experience: You have experience designing and implementing network solutions, including cloud networking and network protocols.
  • Cloud Networking Experience: You have experience with cloud networking, including Azure Virtual Networks and Azure Traffic Manager.
  • Network Protocol Knowledge: You have a strong understanding of network protocols, including BGP, OSPF, IGMP, VRRP, STP, VTP, and IPSec.
  • Network Operating System Experience: You have experience with network operating systems, including Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Riverbed, and NetScaler.
  • Azure Experience: You have strong experience with Azure, including design and implementation experience with Cisco ISE.
  • Certifications: You hold relevant certifications, including TOGAF 9 or higher and Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CMSS.
