Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our esteemed team at Colten Care . You will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our care home, providing exceptional support to our residents during the night shifts.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with our nursing staff, overseeing medication administration, contributing to care planning, ensuring infection control measures are upheld, and assisting in the training and mentoring of new team members.
You will foster meaningful relationships with our residents, significantly impacting their health and overall well-being, and helping them to enjoy a fulfilling life.
Candidate Profile
You possess a natural compassion and a proactive mindset, coupled with excellent communication abilities. As a positive role model, you will inspire your colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
Being a team player, you are ready to engage directly with residents and provide assistance as required. Your organizational skills, strong work ethic, resilience, keen observational skills, attention to detail, and sense of humor will be invaluable in this role.
A minimum of two years of experience in adult care is essential, preferably in a similar capacity, along with a qualification in NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
