We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Manual Turner to become part of a reputable organization specializing in defense manufacturing.


Position Summary:
  • Temporary role with the potential for permanent employment following a probationary period
  • Competitive hourly wage of £18 during the temporary phase, transitioning to approximately £16 upon permanent placement
  • Standard work schedule of 39 hours per week, spread over 4.5 days
  • Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm and Friday from 7am to 1pm
  • Overtime compensation at 1.5 times the standard rate

This position will report directly to the Workshop Manager and will focus on the production of defense-related components.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual turning of various components
  • Reading and interpreting design and assembly drawings
  • Effective use of power tools

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in manual turning and lathe operation
  • Familiarity with workshop environments
