Job Title: Operations Manager

About the Role:

iQ Student Accommodation is a leading provider of student accommodation in the UK, with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our students. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Coach, develop, and motivate your team to drive performance and achieve our business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement proactive and strategic approaches to people planning, ensuring we have the right talent in place to deliver our business goals.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Promote resident satisfaction and retention by actively attracting five-star reviews and ensuring any complaints and service issues are dealt with promptly and effectively.
  • Financial Performance: Be accountable for leasing performance in your cluster, conducting monthly financial performance reviews for each site, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure resident welfare and offer support services where appropriate, manage and monitor compliance in line with health and safety standards, and report any issues or concerns to senior management.
  • Operational Efficiency: Responsible for scheduling planned maintenance and reporting processes, ensuring our sites are well-maintained and running efficiently.
