As an Assistant Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of replacement UPVC windows and doors for the public and housing authority sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the work of self-employed fitters and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Oversee contracts worth £1-3 million, ensuring they are executed within budget and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, reporting any discrepancies and chasing missing items. Store products safely and assist with unloading deliveries as needed.
  • Book and confirm jobs with residents, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage installer teams' work plans and schedules to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure on-site quality and EHS standards are met, aligning with company and client expectations.
  • Collate and manage paperwork and administration in a timely and organized manner.
  • Provide technical advice and support to teams as needed.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, demonstrating strong project management skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in site management within a construction environment.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
  • Man management skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of UPVC windows and doors, including installation and maintenance.

Working Conditions:

The role will require occasional travel within the M4 corridor, and a full driving license is essential. Some flexibility with working hours, including occasional weekend work, may be required.
