Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at Gi Group. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of common areas, offices, and restrooms
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste receptacles
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed
  • Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve cleaning goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
