Position: Electrical Supervisor (Domestic Maintenance)
Location: Various properties across the North Lakes
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call supervisor duties on a rota)
Salary: £41,800 per annum, plus company van, generous on-call allowance of up to £211 per week, and excellent benefits including a Health Cash Plan.
About Us: At Home Group, we pride ourselves on being a leading employer in the repairs and maintenance sector. We are seeking an experienced trades supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee and guide our multi-trade Electricians and subcontractors to ensure a customer-centric, compliant service across both responsive and vacant properties.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead our trades team to achieve a 'right first time' approach in repairs and maintenance, ensuring compliance and high-quality standards.
- Oversee all works, including installations, repairs, and servicing, ensuring they are completed within budget and adhere to KPIs and service standards.
- Manage health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Effectively coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to fulfill our customer commitments.
What We Are Looking For:
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or substantial operational experience.
- Prior experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, holding IET wiring regulations, 18th Edition, and inspection and testing 2391 or equivalent qualifications.
- Proven experience in electrical installation.
- SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification, with experience managing health and safety for both direct staff and contractors.
- Experience in managing construction teams, including electrical and compliance aspects, successfully delivering projects on time and within budget while enhancing performance and quality.
- Knowledge of building regulations, electrical installations, and materials, with the ability to work confidently to specifications and contracts.
- A valid driving license, as a company van will be provided for business use.
