We are seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our Public Sector team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multiple audit engagements, overseeing and developing junior staff.
You will work closely with clients, providing exceptional service and managing stakeholder relationships at audited entities. Your expertise will be valued by senior level staff, and you will work closely with Senior leaders up to Partner level.
Key Responsibilities- Lead multiple audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Develop and manage junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with Senior leaders to drive business growth and improve audit processes.
- ACA / CA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
- Experience of leading external audits from planning through to completion.
- Relevant public services sector audit experience.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
- Experience of managing, training, and coaching audit trainees.
