About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Logistics Administrator to join our team at Gi Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing:
    • Negotiate and agree contracts and purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring that all commercial terms are met.
    • Perform annual contract reviews, including pricing reviews and renegotiations as necessary.
    • Enter purchase orders on Sage 200 from internal purchasing requests and perform daily administration tasks related to the system.
  • Inventory Control:
    • Maintain daily, monthly, and annual chemical transactions and movements on the Sage 200 system.
    • Conduct regular inventory checks in the warehouse and on the vessel to ensure accurate inventory control.
    • Develop and implement chemical and proppant forecasts to satisfy client work commitments and place purchase orders to meet demand.
    • Manage the company's waste disposal, ensuring that all waste is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Logistics:
    • Manage and organize the company's transport demands, including shipping companies and freight forwarders.
    • Issue commercial invoices and manifests for local shipments and imports/exports.
    • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient and effective transportation of goods.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in purchasing and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and inventory control.
  • Experience with Sage 200 Procurement and Inventory Systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
