We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our procurement and supply chain team, you will be responsible for providing technical and specialist advice on supply chain management principles and practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt and distribution of materials and supplies across our sites
  • Provide technical and specialist advice on supply chain management principles and practices
  • Manage staff and contractors to ensure a consistent and reliable materials management service
  • Plan and coordinate workloads to meet the needs of our patients and staff
  • Advise users and budget holders on supply chain management policies and procedures
  • Undertake stock management activity for medium/high value items
  • Manage the performance of 17 supply chain management operatives
  • Support the development of staff and contractors to meet their own development needs and aspirations
