Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Crossley Street Primary School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff and pupils in the classroom, ensuring that all students have access to learning opportunities and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: * Provide individualized support to pupils with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities * Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans and Personal Care programs * Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs * Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils * Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher * Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence * Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under the guidance of the teacher * Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans * Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals * Assist with the planning of learning activities * Monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/problems as directed Requirements: * Experience of working in a childcare setting, ideally at primary level * Ability to work flexibly to deliver an efficient service * Regular contact with pupils, colleagues, other members of staff, line managers, and internal and external customers What We Offer: * A supportive and inclusive work environment * Opportunities for professional development and training * A chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our pupils Commitment to Safeguarding: * We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our pupils * We have a robust safeguarding policy in place, which includes procedures for reporting concerns and incidents * We provide regular training and support for all staff to ensure they are aware of their statutory responsibilities and can identify and report safeguarding issues How to Apply: * Please download the application form using the link below and send it to us once completed * CVs are not accepted * Visas cannot be sponsored
