Care Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Driver to join our team at Beechwood College. As a Care Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to access activities, appointments, and community facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport service users to and from appointments, activities, and community facilities
  • Act as a secondary carer for service users, providing support and assistance as needed
  • Manage vehicle checks, maintenance, and cleaning to ensure safe and secure transportation
  • Liaise with colleagues to coordinate service user needs and schedules
  • Pick up prescriptions, take to the pharmacy, and pick up medication in line with policy and procedure
  • Organize working day/time management to meet service user needs

Requirements:

  • Driving License D1
  • Ability to work flexibly across 7 days, with a predominant shift pattern of 0800-1600hrs Mon-Fri
  • Experience working in a similar role in the care sector, with compassion for others
